Richco offers a wide range of plastic spacers, metal spacers and standoffs which are used for Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs). The Richco parts aid the support, spacing, locking, and guiding of the board within electronic applications. The majority of support posts and spacers are designed to be installed manually by hand and do not require automated assembly equipment. Richco offers nylon and metal spacers with different mounting types, like adhesives, screws, rivets, snap-lock and snap-fit. Standoffs and spacers are available in a wide array of materials, e.g. UV-and heatstablised polyamid. Richco provides the largest selection of PCB hardware products in the electronic industry. If you could not find any suitable part in our standard range, then please do not hesitate to contact us. Richco's modular tooling system allows us to service our customers with economical custom solution. With this tooling system we have the possibility to release new spacers with different mounting heads or lengths.
Terminology
Snap-Lock A snap-in mount that is pushed through the hole in the panel or chassis, which closes and snaps open on the opposite side to give a mechanical and secure lock. To remove, simply squeeze the locking device of the spacer/support.
Snap-Fit A snap-in mount that is pushed through a hole in a panel or chassis and deflects on the opposite side to produce a mechanical pressure hold. To remove simply pull or push, no squeezing of the device is required.
